Kaylie's journey with food began cooking alongside her mom as a young child. Every night, her mom would cook beautiful family style meals for her family of five, and Kaylie stood by her side, absorbing the knowledge and recipes she passed down. As she grew older, the two of them would spend hours and hours cooking together, and experimenting with a wide range of cuisines. Kaylie always dreamed of turning her passion for food into a career.
For her, cooking has always been her favorite way to connect with people. She loves to explore foods from all around the world, and has brought back recipes from the time she has spent in Thailand, Vietnam, Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina, tasting native dishes, taking culinary classes, and learning about the local cuisines. Recently, she has also taken on the role as a personal chef for many clients in Orange County. She blends her love for ethnic cuisine with her passion for health and wellness by cooking for people with dietary restrictions such as Plant-Based, Whole30, Paleo, Keto, Gluten Free, or Dairy Free.
In June of 2018, Kaylie, at the age of 25 decided to take the leap at her dream and start The Cultured Nutt. She makes cashew-based "Everything Spreads" in small batches, and she uses recipes that she brought home with her from around the world (such as Chimichurri from her time in Argentina).
To this day, her mom comes to the kitchen once her week to help Kaylie make her Everything Spreads.
The Cultured Nutt is a plant based cashew spread company based out of Orange County, California with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. We steer clear from using any preservatives or additives, and instead, we use nothing but the highest quality plant based ingredients we can find. Our cashew spreads are rich in nutrients, good for you, and completely guilt-free!

Additionally, we avoid all filler ingredients and use only 100% plant based whole foods. Tons of flavor, without any indigestion or empty calories. Our goal is to get as much good in from nutritious ingredients, so that you can get the most good out.
